Mara Brill, MD, 57, of Needham, died Jan. 8, 2014.
She was daughter of Fira and Lester Annenberg of Brookline and wife of Marius Brill.
Mara was a well-respected psychiatrist. A caregiver to everyone, she was always concerned with those around her more than herself.
She is survived by her children, Alissa Brill and Jessica Brill and her fiancé Robert Saphirstein; her uncle, Vladimir Wertsman; and numerous friends and colleagues. She was preceded in death by her father Jack Lee.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 1668 Beacon St, Brookline. Burial will follow at Independent Workmen's Circle, 776 Baker Street, W. Roxbury. Shiva will be held immediately following interment at her late residence, on Monday and Tuesday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.
