Obituary: Jerome Lynch, Founder and Owner of Needham Body Shop

Jerome "Jerry" Lynch, 78, in Franklin, formerly of Eastham and Needham, died Jan. 2, 2014.

He was husband of the late Barbara (Smith) Lynch.

Jerry attended Newton Schools and served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was the founder and owner of the Needham Body Shop, and a member of the Medfield Gun Club and former member of the Needham Exchange Club.

Jerry enjoyed fishing, hunting and winters in St. Augustine Fla. 

He leaves his children, Gregory C. and his wife Terri Lynch of Medfield, Gayle and her husband Nick Brown of Medfield and Gary and his wife Maura Lynch of Norfolk; his siblings, Louise Conlan of Eastham, Donald Lynch of Nashua, N.H. and Margery Lynch of Eastham; his grandchildren, Abigayle, Cooper, Tatum, Henry and Kelty; and his several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Lynch.

Visiting hours at Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave., Needham Thursday, Jan. 9, from 4 to 7 p.m. Interment services will be held later in the spring. 

In lieu of flowers donations in Jerry's name may be made to the Volunteer Services for Patients Fund c/o VA Boston Healthcare System, 1400 VFW Parkway, West Roxbury, MA 02132.
