NHS Wrestling recap for 1/25/14

 The Needham High wrestling team travelled to Milton High School on Saturday to participate in the BSC quad meet with host Milton, Walpole and Newton North. The Rockets began the day against Newton North and despite having some key wrestlers out with injuries, edged the Tigers 38-35. Freshman Andy Kaplan started the match with a pin at 106 and continued to pin in his next two matches.  Senior Matt Sullivan had two pins on the day against Walpole and Newton North. Juniors Alex Goff, Derek Child, Will Burke and Travis Szetela won two matches as did sophomore Lucas Goldman. Also handing in nice efforts were Ethan Okunas and David Kurker.  Needham fell to Walpole 43-29 and Milton 54-27. The team will travel to Dedham and Natick this week for dual matches.
