The In-Laws are coming...

If we were to play a game where I say a phrase and you respond with the first thing you think of, I would hope that when I say "the in-laws are coming for Christmas.." your first thought would be, wine.

Holidays are stressful. My sisters and I constantly tease my mother because Christmas is her favorite holiday but she gets herself so worked up over guests, and gifts, and cleaning and cooking that she never sits back and takes the time to enjoy it. That's why we find ourselves saying, "I can't believe December is already here!" right after Thanksgiving. Then, we repeat that phrase on December 25th when we say "I can't believe Christmas is over."

The holidays have become heavily commercialized. Make sure that when you're rushing around shopping and darting around from holiday party to holiday party that you take time to sit with your kids, grandkids or friends and watch a Christmas movie. And I'm not talking "The Mistletones" I'm talking classics, like "Rudolph", "White Christmas", or "It's a Wonderful Life".

One of my friends told me the other day she had NEVER seen "White Christmas" but she has every line from "Elf" memorized. How can you sing the classic Bing Crosby version of "White Christmas" without picturing the last scene of the movie? I've yearned to have Rosemary Clooney's gorgeous red silk dress on my body since I was 9. If you don't know what I'm talking about than run out and watch that movie as soon as you are home and in your jammies tonight.

When it comes to the holiday hustle and bustle, especially your holiday party planning, my specialty is wine. And our company has a great offer right now where you can get 6 bottles or 12 bottles at a 10-20% discount. And these are awesome wines that pair up with any part of your holiday meal! (Best part is, I can help you figure out what those pairings are!) You can also book a free in-home wine tasting, where I literally bring the wine to you, you bring me your friends and we learn all about how to pair food and wine in a fun, relaxing environment. All of these things are built to help you enjoy your time with family and friends and stop fretting the small stuff!

Cheers to the holidays and cheers to taking the time to enjoy it!
