Needham Heights Neighborhood Association (NHNA)

The Needham Heights Neighborhood Association (NHNA) will be hosting a meeting on Monday evening, January 07, 2013 at 7:00pm at the Needham Public Library Community Room.  Our featured speaker will be Steven Johnson from the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (DEP).  He has been with this State Agency for over 25 years and is currently Deputy Regional Director of the Massachusetts DEP Bureau of Waste Site Cleanup.  Steven will be addressing the Needham Community on the history and current status of the Microwave Development Labs (MDL) Waste Site Cleanup Project which he has supervised for the Massachusetts DEP since 1990.   The impact of this waste site cleanup project on the Hillside Elementary School Building located in Needham Heights will also be discussed.  There will be a question and answer session at the conclusion of Steven Johnson’s remarks.  All residents of Needham are cordially invited to attend this event at the Needham Public Library on Monday evening, January 07, 2013 at 7:00pm.
