Katrin and her Band at the Homegrown Coffeehouse

Katrin, a rising star in North America and Europe who hails from Newton, MA, weaves together an awe-inspiring voice, unbelievable guitar skills and thought provoking lyrics to captivate her listeners. Katrin's career highs include opening for Joan Armatrading, Chris Isaak and the Fixx, plus busking and backpacking through Europe to the Edinburgh Festival in Scotland. She also played the Sunset Jazz Club in Paris, and won a songwriting award from the Mountain Stage Newsong Festival. Together, Katrin and her band consistently deliver on a promise: audiences will be fixated by a powerful, pure voice, tight and distinctive musical arrangements, and a group of friends that, bottom line, just have a blast on stage together!
