Art Demo in Needham

The Needham Art Association will be meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5 at the Needham Library. Artist, Deborah Drummond will be there to give an acrylic painting demonstration.

As an abstract artist, Deborah engages in the artistic process as an expressive exploration. Working primarily in acrylic and other water-based media and without a specific planned outcome, she strives to take advantage of play of materials and instinct to develop her images.

Although her work is non-representational, it is often inspired by the forms found in nature and the figure. Deborah prefers to let intuition and unexpected happenings lead her paintings direction. The evolution of her work method offers never-ending experiences and possibilities.
