Where Do Drivers Speed Most in Needham?

Let's see if there's a consensus.

We all know there are spots where people tend to speed in Needham.

Tell us in the comments section which streets in town you think are the most dangerous and might need a raised section, another stop sign, more crosswalks or a difference measure to slow down traffic.

Then next week, we'll run a poll based on the top five answers we received in the callout.

Webster st between south and Dedham ave - the cars and trucks fly by. The houses shake as the go by. We have lots of walkers on street in addition to the people who live there. Very dangerous w fast vehicles. It is also marked as double yellow which should be changed. A raised section would be great as well.

Speed limit on Dedham Ave in some areas are 25 MPH. Way to slow. Dedham Ave speed limit should be raise to 35 MPH

Charles River Street on the straight flats into Dover. Many cars do 50 but the speed limit is 30! High Rock Street is posted at 30 and many do over 40, but the Needham Police often set speed traps there to slow them down.

Central and Webster. The cars zip by on the their way to Newton and don't seem to care that kids are trying to cross to get to the Eliot School or the playground.

I agree with Central Ave and Webster but also Central Ave and Cedar St. Not only do people speed by here all day, they don't think you actually have to stop at a stop sign. It's continually difficult for us just to pull out of our driveway because no one stops at stops signs. There is also constant honking from cars pulling out in front of others, etc.
