Start 2013 Right at New Year's Needham

Town event to ring in New Year's Eve

If puppets, jazz, arts and crafts and a glass of bubbly sound like a great way to ring in the new year, then you may be intrigued by New Year's Needham.

The party starts at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 31 all over town, according to a press release from the New Year's Needham committee. There is a schedule of events at a number of town locations. Check the calendar on the New Year's Needham website, and nearly anyone can find something to do.

To get into the festivities, you will need a button, which are available from a number of locations around town, including Town Hall, Taylor’s Stationery, and Volante Farms. The New Year Needham site has a full list.

The button, however, does not get you into the 21+ New Years Countdown party, which starts at 9 p.m. at Town Hall.

The party, naturally, doesn't stop until 2013.
