Snow Could Cause Slippery Roads Tonight

The National Weather Service is forecasting snowfall between 10:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m., with cold weather causing slippery roads.

A layer of snow and the recent cold weather could make for slippery driving conditions on Monday evening in some areas of Massachusetts, including Needham and western Norfolk County.

Snow is expected to arrive between 10:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m. Monday evening, according to a weather alert issued by the National Weather Service. Snow could accumulate to an inch deep, and untreated roads may become snow covered and slippery for a time overnight because of the recent cold.

The snow is expected to change over to rain between 3:00 and 7:00 a.m, according to the NWS.
