Parks and Rec Winter Brochure Now Available

A Letter from the Parks and Rec department invites residents to check out their 2012 programs--and sign up online next week.

 

If you want to spend the winter ice skating, ballet dancing or playing with legos, there the time to register is now--and there's an easier way to do it. 

The Parks and Recreation Commission recently announced their Winter/Spring 2013 brochure (see PDF to right) and their new online registration service. Registration begins next week--on Tuesday, Dec. 11.

Dear Editor: 

The Needham Park and Recreation Commission Winter/Spring 2013 Brochure is now complete withan outstanding cover by Recreation Supervisor, Nicole DiCicco. You can view the brochure RIGHT NOW online at www.needhamma.gov/parkandrecreation. Printed brochures will be available at the Park and Recreation Office in the Public Services Administration Building (PSAB), Town Hall, Library, Police Department and the Stephen Palmer Senior Center soon.

The brochure is filled with exciting, and affordable programs for Needham residents of all ages. Someprograms for little ones include: Kids Night Out, February Vacation Programs, Ice Skating, Tennis,Ballet and Itsy Bitsy Arts. Sign up now for Adult Co-Ed Volleyball and Senior Walking. Also, foradults Tennis and Golf Lessons will be available. We will also be offering winter and spring sessionsof Senior Exercise and Senior Yoga.

Registration will begin at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 11 online (preferred method), by Mail or in Person at 500 Dedham Avenue. Park and Recreation does notaccept telephone or faxed registrations.

NEW! You can now create an account online, allowing you to use credits, check transaction receipts and more all from home!! Visit www.needhamma.gov/parkandrecreation and click Online Program Registration. Click Login at the top right hand corner of the registration page and follow theinstructions to create your account!

Non-residents may register the Wednesday before a session begins, unless otherwise stated in thebrochure. Please feel free to call our office with questions at 781-455-7550, press 3.
