Five things for Needham today.

1. While the day will be sunny with temperatures in the mid-forties, there is a possibility of snow overnight. The National Weather Service predicts temperatures between 46ºF and 25ºF with increasing clouds in the evening, and a 20 percent chance of snow after 4 a.m.

2. Greene's Field is running a Fundraiser By Y3K Tutor In Your Home. That is, if you get services from Y3K Tutor In Your Home, starting at $10, they will give 10 percent of the proceeds to rebuilding Greene's Field. 

3. Temple Beth Shalom is sponsoring a "Circle of Hope" Coat Drive. Beginning at 9 a.m. today, they are collecting coats to benefit homeless shelters. Bring old coats to the donation box in the foyer of 670 Highland Ave in Needham

4. Join Green Needham tonight for Green Monday at the Needham Free Public Library at 7 p.m. tonight. They are bringing three speakers, for a topic “Better by Design”: Rick Rice from DiNisco Design Partnership, Project Architect for the High Rock School, Mike Fields, from Winter Street Architects, Project Architect for the innovative Public Services Administration Building, one of the first public buildings to be heated and cooled with geothermal heat pump technology Hank Haff, a Project Manager for Needham’s Public Construction Division.
