1. Mostly sunny: Today will be mostly sunny with a calm wind in the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. Clouds will move in toward the evening. High: 62, Low: 47.

2. Open house: The Needham Community Council will host an open house today from 3-7 p.m. Come tour the council’s new home at 570 Hillside Ave., meet the staff, board members and volunteers and pick up something in the thrift shop. There will be a special dedication of the donor wall at 6 p.m. Refreshments will be served. This program is free and open to the community.

3. Mission to Mars: Dr. James D. Livingston will explore the fourth planet from the sun with his presentation, today at 7:30 p.m. at the Needham Free Public Library Community Room. This program is free and open to all.

4. Senior Night: The Needham High School girls soccer team will celebrate their Senior Night tonight as they host Dedham at 7:15 p.m. on Memorial Field in the annual Needham Soccer Club 300th Cup Game.

5. Computer lessons: The Council on Aging offers computer lessons on Thursday afternoons from noon to 3 p.m. There is no fee for this class. Call the COA at 781-455-7555 to schedule an appointment.
