Needham Public Schools are closed today.

1. Sunny: Today will be clear and sunny with a calm wind, according to the National Weather Service. High: 42, Low: 28.

2. Don’t forget to vote! In case you’ve been living under a rock for the past year or so, here’s a friendly reminder that today is ELECTION DAY. That means you (yes, you!) should head to your local polling place today between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. and cast your ballot for the next U.S. president, Massachusetts senator and more. 3. No school: Needham Public Schools are closed today. Several of the school buildings will be open as polling locations.

4. Flu shots: The Needham Public Health Department is offering flu shots today from 8-9:30 a.m. by appointment at Town Hall. To schedule an appointment, call 781-455-7500 ext. 511. The next clinic will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 13 from 4-6 p.m.

5. Art demo: The Needham Art Association will meet tonight at 7 p.m. at the Needham Free Public Library Community Room. Artist Robin Wessman will give an oil painting demonstration.
