1. Showers possible: There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms today, mainly after 1 p.m., with rain and storms likely this evening after 11 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. The rest of the day will be partly sunny with a high near 95 degrees and a low around 67.

2. Watch "TinTin": The will be showing (Rated: PG, 107 minutes), the first of their Summer 2012 Film Series presentations, today at 2 p.m., in the Community Room. The program is free and open to all.

3. Thrift shop: The Thrift Shop is open every Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Stop by to on “new to you” clothing and small household items. Access the shop from the entrance to the left side of the building.

4. Free Y memberships: Starting Saturday, June 23 and continuing through Sept. 8, the YMCA of Greater Boston is offering to teens ages 13-17 at all of its 13 branches, including the in Needham. Teens can visit any YMCA of Greater Boston branch to enroll with a valid state or student ID or with a parent present.
