5. Softball clinic: Needham Fastpitch will be holding its third annual on Aug. 27-30 at Needham's softball complex. For four half-days (9 a.m. to 12:30 pm.), Needham Fastpitch will have professional instructors to help the girls with all aspects of the game. The Needham Fastpitch fall season in the Charles River Softball League will begin shortly after the clinic.
