Shopping and swimming, not to mention a chance to clean out your cabinets. Five Things today.

1. Weather remaining steady, although snow is on the horizon. Sunny with a high of 47ºF, according to the National Weather Service, leading to a mostly clear evening with a low of 26ºF. 

2. Clean out your cupboard or pick up a few items the next time you’re at the grocery store to donate to the Needham Community Council Food Pantry, which serves local residents in need. Donations can be dropped off at the council’s Hillside Avenue location (use the door on the right) between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

3. Life may be better under the sea, but here on dry land the " Doors open at 7 p.m. at Babson College's The Sorenson Center (231 Forest St, Wellesley), and tickets are $6.00

4. Get a present for yourself at Eveden Factory Store's Holiday Shopping Event! At 7 p.m. tonight, they are doing free fittings, as well as hosting Origami Owl to make custom charm necklaces. Head in to shop, and enter the raffle for a gift certificate towards an Origami Owl creation.

5. An Irving Berlin special at Jack Craig's 7:30 p.m. performance at Waterstone at Wellesley tonight. The musician and performer is headint to Waterstone to share ragtime classics with his audience. The event is free, but they're asking for an RSVP: Call 781-235-1614.
