Treat Cupcake Bar’s Delicious Celebration to Aid Relay For Life

For the month of April Treat Cupcake Bar’s Needham location is supporting a special organization with their Treat Other’s Well program: Relay for Life of Needham, Dedham and Wellesley. The American Cancer Society Relay for Life movement unites communities around the world in a form of celebration of victory, remembrance and showing they will continue fighting this.

The Relay takes place May 17- May 18, 2014 from 4:00 p.m.- 7:00 a.m. at Newman Elementary School and you can join your neighbors for this exceptional overnight event. Want to join? Register Here. If you cannot make the event don’t worry- stop into Treat Needham and pick up a Treat Other’s Well Cupcake.

TOW is a unique program designed to show support for youth wanting to make a difference in the Needham and Greater Boston communities. TOW creates a platform to speak out about various concerns while simultaneously assisting deserving charities in their efforts to better their services. The program is intended to be kid-run, meaning all requests are encouraged to come from youth. TOW supports a different charity each month.

Applications, which are available on the Treat Cupcake Bar Website , are accepted on a rolling basis. Each month head baker, Adie Sprague, works with an individual to design a unique cupcake that will be sold throughout the month with 50% of the proceeds going directly to the applicant’s cause. Proceeds may go to an event, charity group, or ongoing cause.

Past Treat Others Well recipients include the One Fund, Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer and the Charity:Water.
