The Residences at Wingate to Host Free Health & Wellness Events

The Residences at Wingate (www.residencesatwingate.com), Needham’s only 5-star senior living community, today announced they will be hosting a series of free events at their Needham community in March designed to help people develop a healthier lifestyle.

On March 5 from 6 – 7:30 pm, acclaimed Watertown-based dietician and yoga teacher, Diana Cullum-Dugan, RD, LDN, RYT will host Love Your Body, Love Yourself. Through yoga for all ages and lecture, attendees will explore their relationship with food, body image and emotions to gain more awareness of their body. Hailing from Watertown, Massachusetts, Dugan has more than 20 years of experience helping people with busy schedules find balance through good nutrition and yoga. As a senior dietician for the Dash for Health team, ranked #1 by U.S. News & World Report, she provides nutrition education and behavioral change recommendations. As featured on the Dr. Oz Show and Good Morning America, she created meals plans and recipes for The Overnight Diet and, for 9 years, managed the Nutrition and Weight Management Center at Boston Medical Center.

On March 11 from 6 – 7 pm, best-selling author, Terry Walters, will host Clean Eating 101, a lecture and book signing in which attendees will learn how to create healthy, delicious and beautiful food at home. Creator of the Clean Food and Clean Start cookbook series, Walters is regularly featured on television, radio, print and Internet media for being at the forefront of the clean eating lifestyle movement. She is a James Beard Foundation Award finalist and recipient of the Nautilus Gold and Silver Book Awards.
