Needham Historical Society and Needham Bank Team Up

Needham Bank is proud to announce their partnership with The Needham Historical Society. Through this partnership, in 2014 Needham Bank will offer all new mortgage customers who reside in Needham, a complimentary one year membership to the historical society.

The Needham Historical Society is a local non-profit organization whose mission is to conserve and document Needham’s history and educate residents on the town’s heritage.  They contribute to the community through lectures, exhibits, educational programs with the public and private schools, and research support of the town, organizations, and residents.  As a non-profit the Historical Society receives no operating funds from the Town of Needham.  Needham Bank’s long history of support through its corporate membership and event sponsorships has been crucial to the success of the Needham Historical Society and its programs.  The leading role of Needham Bank in event sponsorships magnifies the importance of the Historical Society’s programs to other businesses in town.

“By offering this partnership, Needham Bank is allowing our new mortgage customers in Needham a chance to learn about the rich history of the town they have chosen to move to.” said Mark Whalen, President and COO of Needham Bank.
