Should Needham Allow Liquor in Smaller Restaurants?

Voters will decide a ballot question April 8.

Needham voters next month will decide whether to allow liquor sales at restaurants.

Last year, voters approved a measure that allowed beer and wine sales in restaurants with fewer than 100 seats. A ballot question for the April 8 Town Meeting this year asks whether liquor should be allowed in those restaurants, too. Liquor sales are already allowed in establishments with more than 100 seats.

You can find the ballot question on page 8 of this town document here.
