The Business Association's annual event was held Saturday on the Town Common.

Like the Street Fair last spring, the Needham Business Association's annual Harvest Fair and Souper Bowl has returned to the Town Common after being moved temporarily to Memorial Park during the renovations of Needham Town Hall. The fall festival was held on Saturday, Oct. 6, and brought together local businesses, organizations, musicians, artisans and residents for a day of fun, fellowship and great fall food.

Under the Souper Bowl tent, visitors could sample soups from various restaurants and kitchens in Needham and vote for their favorite.

On the front steps of Town Hall, musicians and dancers performed for the crowds, and businesses and organizations offered a look at their wares and services at booths set up throughout the Town Common.

Candidates and their supporters also had a strong prescence at the event, holding signs and waving to passersby along Great Plain Avenue.

There was plenty for the kids, too, as the folks at Louise Condon Realty offered their annual miniature pumpkin patch, and Needham Fire and the Department of Public Works gave kids a chance to get behind the wheel of several town vehicles, among other activities.
