Description: Pediatric speech pathologists will provide home-based services to infants and toddlers (birth to three years old) who have, or are at risk for developmental delays and disorders, and their families. Primary responsibilities include coordinating speech, language and feeding aspects of the child’s treatment plan. Additional responsibilities include conducting developmental assessments, fulfilling service coordination duties, leading and supporting group activities and maintaining an individual caseload. Extensive orientation, ongoing training and clinical supervision provided. Mileage reimbursement for travel provided.
Master’s degree in speech language pathology, current Massachusetts license and ASHA certification required
Minimum of one to two years previous experience with infants and toddlers preferred
Previous parent training/education experience required
Previous experience working with infants and toddlers with autism spectrum disorders preferred
Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
