Last year, The Needham Merchants Association set out "A Chair to Remember." They used the chairs to raise funds were used for scholarships and town beautification.
The Association wrote to Patch to let us know they are doing a similar event this year: "A Chair to Remember II." This year, however, there is a twist: artists are painting Adirondack chairs as well as rocking and vintage chairs.
Some of the artists offered to donate original art to be included in an auction event on September 21st at Town Hall.
