Needham Community Farm Needs an Executive Hand
Positions open on the Community Farm Executive Board, applications are welcome
Working on a farm doesn't necessarily mean getting up at 6 a.m. to feed the chickens, it might mean writing a newsletter.
The Needham Community Farm is looking for a few people to join the executive board, some committees and edit their Newsletter. A recently launched Board Recruitment page on the Farm website has more information, as well as a list of expectations.
According to a post on the NCF website, the jobs of Treasurer, President and Vice President are open. Chairperson positions on their Development/Fundraising Committee, Education Committee and Marketing Committees are also open, as is the Newsletter Editor gig.
The board will oversee activities at the Community Farm, which offers free agricultural programs to Needham students, and donates fresh produce to the Needham Food Pantry. They also run a number of classes through the Farm.
