The annual vegetarian potluck in memory of Laurie Ann Gerber will be held at the on Wednesday, June 6. The potluck will start at 6 p.m. and will be followed by a movie, "3 Steps to Incredible Health with Joel Fuhrman, MD."
Please bring a vegetarian dish that will feed four to six people. This event is free and open to the public.
The hour-long presentation directly addresses the crisis of obesity, diabetes and other chronic diseases that Americans face. Fuhrman contends that the more nutrient-dense food you eat, the healthier you will be. Ample examples of healthier choices are given throughout this presentation. A discussion period will follow the movie.
