This week, we asked Rosalind Fisher, marketing director of Avery Crossings, to tell us a little bit about the independent/assisted living facility.

Q: When and how did Avery Crossings get started?

A: Avery Crossings occupies the former Carter Factory. The building was renovated and converted into an assisted living residence approximately 15 years ago.

Q: Why was Needham chosen to open Avery Crossings?

A: The presence of Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in town makes Needham a desirable and convenient location for allied health services. Needham Heights is also a great location because shops, restaurants and the post office are only a short walk away.

Q: What is Avery Crossings best known for?

A: Avery Crossings has a reputation for providing quality services. We have a seasoned and long tenured staff in addition to great food. In a recent satisfaction survey all our residents and families rated Avery Crossings good or excellent.

Q: What's your most popular product or service?

A: Assisted and Independent Living

Q: What's something interesting about your business your customers might not know?

A: Avery crossings provides short term, temporary care for individuals who need to increase their independence before they can return safely to their home.

Avery Crossings is staffed 24 hours every day. It is located at 110 West St., Needham. For more information, call 781 234 6228 or visit www.AveryCrossings.com.
