Chair to Remember Auction Coming to Needham Town Hall

Remember to go to the Chair to Remember II auction later in the month, and bid on some of the artistic chairs currently decorating Needham's streets.

You may have seen some of the memorable Adirondack chairs around Needham and thought, "I would totally sit on that at home."

If so, you're in luck. Many of them will be for sale at auction later in the month. The Needham Merchant's Association is gearing up for the next Chair to Remember auction, slated for Sept 21 at 6 p.m.

For folks who can't wait until then, the event has a Bidding for Good auction page which is now live, and the items are available for perusing. Everything from Needham House of Pizza's "Game of Thrones"-inspired piece to the Forget Me Not chair outside of Avita.

The show starts on September 17 this year, and will be auctioned off on September 21. Tickets for the auction are available for $20 at the following locations: Taylor’s Stationery, Perennial Designs, Closet Exchange, Black Sheep, The Grey Goose, and The Center Café.

Last year's auction raised money for a scholarship program, which will give two scholarships to business students, and two to arts students for $1,000, as well as funding some small town beautification projects.
