Needham was ranked number eight out of the best towns to live in Massachusetts by a financial website.
The rankings were calculated by NerdWallet.com, and factored in the public school system, affordability and prosperity.
"Needham is a commuter town just outside Boston, and it’s home to some of the best schools around," the article said. "It’s no surprise why the school district rates so high, because its curriculum is so progressive."
Longmeadow was ranked as number 1.
