Needham Man Celebrates 100th Birthday at McDonald’s

Morris Miller has worked at the 'Golden Arches' for 25 years.

A Needham man celebrated his 100th birthday on Friday with a special party at the Chestnut Street McDonald’s.

Morris Miller has worked for McDonald’s for 25 years, the last 19 at the Chestnut Street franchise.

In celebration of Miller’s 100th birthday, franchise owner Tim McCoy offered Big Macs and Quarter Pounders for just 100 cents Friday.

Miller was feted with a party at the restaurant with friends, family, birthday gifts and a large sheet cake. The 100-year-old was also named 2013 Crew Person of the Year in the New England Region and was presented with a plaque and $500 check from Robert Garcia, VP of McDonald’s U.S. Operations.
