This beginners program forms on Mondays from 6-7 p.m. starting June 2 through Aug. 25.

The cost is $250 per family.

Participants in this program will have their own 12'x4' bed to care for at our Pine Street location. The 12 classes held June through August introduce planning, planting, and harvesting in a raised bed sustainable gardening system (without the use of synthetic pesticides/herbicides/fertilizers). Seeds and seedlings will be provided and watering will be taken care of during non-class days. Classes will meet once a week for an hour and will be taught by our farmer.  Participants will have complete access to the beds through the end of October.

These classes are designed so that you will leave with the confidence and skills to create your own backyard garden in the future.

Registration for this class will take place through the Needham Park and Recreation Summer Program Catalog available online.
