Needham Youths Travel to Nashville for Model UN Conference

Joseph Bonvouloir '14, Nicholas Cosentino '15 and Sean Manning '15 of Needham, students at Boston College High School, and members of the school's Model United Nations Club, traveled to Nashville, Tenn for a three day conference at Vanderbilt University. At the assembly, Bonvouloir took on the role of Norborne Berkeley, governor of Virginia at the time of the American Revolution. Cosentino worked in the US Senate committee. Manning was Terence in Hunger Games.

While in Nashville, the three young men and their 20 fellow students dined at the historic Wildhorse Saloon, where they learned to dance the two-step.The group also toured Vanderbilt University and visited Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage, which included his grave site, mansion, estate and Presidential Library.

Boston College High School is a Jesuit, Catholic, college-preparatory school for young men founded in 1863.  The school enrolls approximately 1600 students from more than 100 communities in eastern Massachusetts. For more http://www.bchigh.edu
