Needham Youth Services March RAY of Hope Recipient

March 2014 Recipient – Emma Findlay-Walters

Emma is a senior at Needham High School. She was nominated by Rev. Jamie Green Klopotoski for her volunteer work at the Center, an after school program for 6th graders at the Congregational Church of Needham. She has been involved at the Center since she was a sophomore in High School. Emma also teaches the preschool Sunday School Class at the Congregational Church of Needham.

Emma has participated in the Relay for Life for the past six years; she has served on the committee for three years and is co-chair for the Needham, Dedham, and Wellesley Relay for Life this year.

In addition to her volunteer work, Emma enjoys music and sports. She has sung in her church choir and various school groups since she was little. She has also been a member of several sports teams at the high school, including the swim team and the hockey team. Emma is currently one of the co-editors of Needham High School’s yearbook.
