The Needham Community Council has a proud history; the Council was established in 1930 by residents who saw a need in town for private (and free) social service supports for their neighbors during the Depression which continues today as we provide a wide variety of community programs.

During the dinner, the Stephanie J. Kalin Distinguished Service Award will be presented along with several other Council volunteer service awards. President Lisa Cherbuliez will give a "State of the Council" presentation and preside over the business meeting and installation of the 2014-15 Board of Directors. A unique silent auction will also be part of the evening's events.
