Locals to perform at Own Your Peace Comedy Night

Own
Your Peace, Inc., a Needham-based charitable organization, announced plans for a
Needham Laughs Comedy Night on Saturday, January 18 from 7:30-11:30 pm at the
Needham Village Club, 83 Morton
St.

The
participating comedians include…

Needham
Native, Alex Kumin-NHS class of 2005, will be traveling
in from Chicago.
She began stand-up comedy after a year and a half of practicing and performing
improv across the city of Chicago, and uses her life experiences and
observations to serve up hot plates of self-deprecating humor to audiences
around the city.

Needham’s Own, Dan
Shapiro-recent grad of Notre Dame, Dan knows
funny. Born and raised on the mean streets of Needham, Sharpiro learned early that cracking
smiles was easier than cracking skulls.

Brad
Mastrangelo-the headliner for the evening, is
the ultimate story teller. Brad’s unique routine never fails to hit home with
audiences of all ages and backgrounds.

Carolyn
Plummer-Carolyn pulls material from the
hum-drum, day to day monotony of life. And she does it well. Carolyn’s twisted
perception of our common existence leaves audiences hysterically shaking heads
in agreement with her assessment that the world is indeed a very funny
place.
