The  Needham Free Public Library, along with community sponsor, the Needham Human Rights Committee, will offer a series of screenings, discussion forums, and  scholarly presentations centered around  civil rights themed documentaries.   The films included are The Abolitionists, The Loving Story, The Freedom Riders and Slavery by Another Name.   Each of these films will be shown in their entirety at the library, with three of the four available to be viewed on computer or mobile device via a link. A scholar-led forum including community interactive conversations will highlight each film several days after the public viewing.  While it is recommended watching the films in advance, the discussions will be such that they are able to stand alone, independent on the films.
