BERTOLON CENTER FOR GRIEF & HEALING ANNOUNCES UPCOMING LATE SUMMER/FALL WORKSHOPS IN 2013 Free Programs Help Bereaved Individuals and Families Cope with Loss

The Bertolon Center for Grief & Healing a program of Hospice of the North Shore & Greater Boston, is offering a variety of workshops in late summer/fall 2013. Free of charge, these groups offer several options for people grieving the death of a loved one, with each group specific to individual needs and preferences. All groups meet at Hospice of the North Shore & Greater Boston’s Wellesley office at 70 Walnut Street, Suite 301, Wellesley, MA, unless otherwise noted.

Bertolon Center for Grief & Healing workshops are open to anyone in the community who has lost someone special and are free of charge. Space is limited and advance registration is required. Upcoming Late Summer/Fall Workshop Offerings:

Newly Bereaved, a one-time workshop for loss of 1-3 months, will be held on Tuesday, September 10 and Tuesday, November 12 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Wellesley.

Grieving Loss in a Jewish Way, a weekly support group, will meet on Wednesdays from October 2 to November 20 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Wellesley.

Hope and Healing: Adult Loss of a Parent, a weekly support group, will meet on Mondays beginning on September 16 through October 21 from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. in Wellesley. RSVP by September 9.

Young Widowed Workshop (50 and under) is an ongoing workshop that meets on the first Tuesday of each month from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Wellesley.

Loss of a Spouse/Partner, a weekly support group, will meet on Mondays beginning on January 6, 2014 through February 24, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in Wellesley.
