3. Event highlight
There will be a 6th grade Dance and Sport Night featuring Dr. Dodgeball 7:30 until 10 p.m. at Pollard Middle School. Admission is $8. Snacks and water may be purchased for $1 to $2 at the snack bar. Drop off and pick up for this event is behind Pollard, off Bradford Street, by the gyms and cafeteria. Students may only leave from this exit, and may only leave if an adult walks up to get them or they get into a car. Youth Center events are open to students who live in or attend school in Needham. Each student attending a Youth Center event must have a signed permission slip on record. For more information, visit the Youth Center website.
MassNeeds – a statewide coalition of corporate, public and private foundations supporting more than 200 nonprofit organizations – announced that 51 funders have committed approximately $13 million to help provide hunger, heat, housing and health care support for Massachusetts residents – a more than 50 percent increase over last year’s efforts.
