Today in Needham: Maximum Gardens, Musical Movement and More!

Five things you need to know for Needham, Dover and Sherborn on Sept 24, 2013.


1. Weather looks to stay pretty steady today: high of 67ºF and a low of 44ºF while today stays sunny and tonight, partly cloudy, according to the National Weather Service

2. Do you want to get the most out of your garden, but without maximizing the amount of time you spend working on it? Today North Hill and Elm Bank are hosting the Garden Continuum’s Monique Allen for a class running from 10 a.m. to noon. Register on their website. The class is $10.

3. Can you hear me now? If you think your hearing, or your hearing aid, could do with a tune up, Avery Crossings is offering just such a thing--for free, starting at 10 a.m. Call 781 234-6228 and are available on Sept. 24 & 25. to make an appointment.

4. If you want to know about where a country is, it helps to know where it has been. Modern Russian history is the topic of today's Council on Aging lecture at the Dover Town Library, which is set to run from 10 a.m. to noon today. 

5. Kids aged 3 to 5 (and parents of), call quickly to register for Cici Hunt's session today at the Needham Public Library. She is bringing movement and music there at 11 a.m. today. They are limiting the class to 20 kids and adults. Call (781) 455-7559 x204 to register.
