Take a break from the winter weather and indulge in a mini shopping spree on Thursday, March 1st, 2012 from 12:00PM to 2:00PM at Blue on Highland during its “Spring Forward” event. The afternoon soiree will allow ladies to sample delectable hors d'oeuvres while previewing the latest fashions from Two Hippies, the new designer featured at Chrislee Boutique located in Needham, MA, as well as the latest looks from clothing designer B Matty.
                       
Chrislee Boutique will unveil the newest collection of handbags from Two Hippies. Named after the owner and self-proclaimed hippie, Meg, and her Australian-hippie friend, Anne, Two Hippies handbags are hand-cut and hand-stitched from the best leathers and sherlings around. The Massachusetts based company sells luxury handbags at upscale boutiques across the world, including locations in Beverly Hills, CA, Martha’s Vineyard, MA and St. Bart’s. Two Hippies is also dedicated to serving the community, especially supporting non-profit organizations that help women and young girls.

A representative from B Matty will be on hand to share the company’s latest tunics, all of which blend signature Indian beading, embroidery and lavish fabrics with modern American aesthetics, and will help guests mix and match their new fashion finds! As ladies spend the afternoon perusing the fashion racks set up in Blue’s spacious bar and lounge, they’ll be served complimentary passed hors d’oeuvres from Blue on Highland’s chef, Peter Tartsinis.
