DESCRIPTION:In keeping with the Chabad tradition of creating  incredible 
 fun and exciting holiday programs for the entire Jewish community\,  the
  Chabad Jewish Center will be hosting its annual Purim celebration\, thi
 s year  with an African theme. The party will be held on Thursday\, Marc
 h 8\, at 5 p.m.  at the Masonic Hall\, 1101 Highland Ave.\, in Needham.\
 nThe party will feature: An African Drum Circle!\, A Megillah (Purim  St
 ory) Reading\, scrumptious all-you-can-eat African style dinner buffet\,
  African  or jungle Masquerade\, African Crafts\, Music\, and Hamentashe
 n (Traditional Purim  dessert).\nPurim commemorates the escape of the Je
 wish people from  annihilation by the ancient Persian Empire\, and is ce
 lebrated by the exchange of  food packages between friends\, by giving c
 harity to the poor\, by eating a  traditional festive meal\, and by read
 ing the story of Purim from the Megillah  (Purim scroll).\nThe party is 
 open to the public and all are welcome\, regardless of  background or af
 filiation.\nTicket costs are $14 adult\, $8 children (3-12)\, or $36 a F
