The Wellesley Teen Center announces that the next dance and activities night for the Middle School will be a 7th and 8th graders ONLY event on Saturday, January 12th from 7:00-9:30. All 7th and 8th graders who attend middle school or who reside in Wellesley are invited. The theme will be “New year’s Celebration – Dress to Impress”. Come join the fun of a live D.J., Wii, Open gym and Ping Pong.
Pizza, snacks, and drinks will be available for purchase for $1.
Each student is encouraged to bring a friend in the 7th or 8th grade from another town. Admission is $5 for Wellesley students and $10 for friends.
Drop off and pick up will be at the Wellesley Middle School auditorium entrance on Donizetti St. No one will be permitted to leave the event until 9:30 p.m., except with a parent or designated adult. Wellesley Middle School behavior and dress code guidelines apply.
If this is a child’s first visit to a Teen Center event (including friends), a signed permission slip must be shown at the door. A permission slip can be downloaded from the Recreation Department website at http://www.wellesleyma.gov/Pages/WellesleyMA_Recreation/TeenCenterIndex.

More About Wellesley Middle School
Wellesley Middle School, located on Kingsbury Street, is the educational home to more than 1,000 students. It is also home to the Wellesley Teen Center and the location of the Wellesley schools administrative offices. The school participates in the state's METCO (Metropolitan Council for Educational Opportunity) which invites urban students to attend schools outside their district.
The school also has a student newspaper, The Locker, a wide spectrum of sports teams and several school clubs. Joshua Frank is the school's principal.
