Longwood Opera's summer concerts are held on Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m. at Christ Episcopal Church in Needham.
The 2012 series inclues:

- Aug. 7, An Evening of Gilbert and Sullivan

- Aug. 28, A Gala Night of Opera
Cost of admission is $8 for adults and $6 for seniors, students and children ages 10 and under. A Summer Season Pass is available and costs $50 for adults or $35 for seniors, students and children ages 10 and under.
Tickets may be purchased at the door or in advance by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope with payment for the tickets or passes desired to: Longwood Opera, 42 Hawthorn Ave., Needham, MA 02492-3806.

More About Christ Episcopal Church
Christ Church is a welcoming parish that asks members to work together to help their fellow neighbors. Adopted on Aug. 19, 1895, the Church nearly tripled in membership in the 1950s and has grown steadily since. Today, the main church rests on an acre and a half on the corner of Rosemary Street and Highland Avenue. Constructed in a Gothic architectural style, the main church can house up to 450 people, while the smaller chapel has room for 200.
Sunday services are conducted throughout the year, as well as Morning Prayers on Tuesdays. Wednesday services are also held on Wednesdays between September and May. Choirs also meet regularly.
