The Needham Historical Society gives you three more reasons to celebrate the Holidays!

Join us this Sunday, December 9, for some good company and good cheer at our annual Holiday Open House from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.  The house has been beautifully decorated for the holidays and there will be refreshments, provided by North Hill.

We also invite you to enjoy our exhibits -  "Needham Center - Needham Heights" is an exhibit of historic photos of the town's two centers (and frequent rivals), joined in the middle by the community-built Memorial Park. "Free Soil - Free Men" looks at Needham's response to the Civil War through the eyes of some of its young soldiers.  And a new version of "Needham Dresses Up" shows off some of the clothing and costumes recently donated by our long-time board member and supporter, Alice Ungethuem.

Take the opportunity to do some of your holiday shopping while you are here!  Throughout the holiday season, the Historical Society's Gift Shop has a assortment of cards, ornaments, books, videos, maps and other Needham-themed gifts.  Or have a look at our Heirloom Shop for antiques, collectibles, and other unique treasures.

The Holiday Open House and exhibits are free and open to the public.  For more information, call Gloria Greis at 781-455-8860 or g.greis@rcn.com.
