You don’t have to leave the city to experience life on the farm! Be sure to mark your calendar for Farm Day at Franklin Park Zoo on September 15 from 10:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Franklin Park Zoo’s Franklin Farm is home to an array of fascinating animals including Poitou donkeys, an extremely rare breed of donkey and the oldest breed of donkey in France, sheep, goats, Guinea hogs, and much more! Throughout the day, learn more about the animals during scheduled zookeeper encounters, have fun making crafts and enjoying other fun activities, and learn more agriculture issues by visiting with special exhibitors.
