Less than a week after Thanksgiving, Needham's North Hill [http://www.NorthHill.org], the next evolution in senior living, will co-sponsor a panel discussion on “Creative Giving” with the Foundation for MetroWest on November 28, 2012.

With a call to action of “Follow Your Passion Close to Home,” the discussion takes a look at how Boston-area residents of any age can support their passions and their community. The panel features Foundation for MetroWest partners such as:

  • The Danforth Museum of Art
  • New England Wild Flower Society
  • The Rivers School Conservatory
  • Barker Steel LLC
  • Bowditch & Dewey
  • New York Life

Judith Salerno, Executive Director of Foundation for MetroWest, will moderate the panel.

Paul Duffy, Community Development Director for North Hill, said the senior living community signed on as an event sponsor because its message aligns with North Hill’s approach. “Making a difference through philanthropy does not require millions of dollars, but it does take some creativity” he said. “We see this every day at North Hill, as our residents pursue their passions and support interests as varied as Alzheimer’s research, mentoring local students and pet therapy.”

The panel discussion runs from 10a-11.30a on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at the Henderson House (99 Westcliff Road, Weston, MA). Space is limited. Reserve a seat by calling 781-433-6400 or by emailing RSVP@NorthHill.org.
