ABCD needs you to Volunteer!

We are looking for special people like you to volunteer with the Financial Futures Initiative at ABCD this upcoming tax season to:

• Help our Boston residents get free tax preparation assistance
• Save thousands of dollars in tax preparation fees; and
• Make a difference in their lives.

By volunteering your time, you get to

• Learn new skills
• Make new friends; and
• Become a certified IRS tax preparer

The tax preparation training is free. No prior tax experience is needed. Last year we returned over 8.5 million in tax refunds to over 5,400 taxpayers through the power of volunteers! We cannot do it again this season without you!

Action for Boston Community Development inc. (ABCD) serves more than 85,000 low-income Greater Boston residents annually through its city-wide network. We serve as the largest partner of the Boston Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) Coalition to provide free electronic tax preparation through the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.
