Guesses were made through email and Twitter in regards to last week's "Where in Needham?" puzzle and while some were close to the answer, no one nailed it exactly. The photo, submitted by Needham Historical Society Executive Director Gloria Greis, was taken in 1880 near Town Common. Some guessers were close in assuming that they were looking at the Walgreens location, while others believed the scene to be that of the Needham Service Center. This week's edition of "Where in Needham?" features a photograph submitted by Gloria Greis, executive director of the Needham Historical Society, and taken in 1880. According to Greis, the photo portrays an area downtown near the common. The building in the shot may or may not still exist today. So Patch readers, where in Needham was this photo taken?
