Framingham resident R.B. writes on Yelp:
Family-owned, very knowledgeable and nice. No 'superior gardener' attitude at all, and happy to give advice. Good selection for a small place and very reasonable prices. Nice quality stock much cheaper than say, Weston Nurseries (which is an amazing place, but a little like going to a Lexus dealership when you can really only afford a Hyundai). Get a cone at Abbott's and take a stroll!
... the setting is charming as well as serene! They have a great selection of trees, shrubs, annuals and perennials as well as everything else a gardener may need. Staff is very friendly and knowledgable. Check it out at christmas time when they sell the most beautiful wreaths (that they custom make) and great Christmas trees. Truly a treasure... Needham is lucky to have!
