Here are just a few of the announcements readers shared this week on Patch:

Santa's Big Party - Santa Claus is having a big party at Charmingfare Farm and you're all invited! To get to the party you must first take a 30- minute horse-drawn sleigh ride through the Christmas trail to the secret party location, where Santa himself awaits you!

Needham Youths Earn Boston College High School Honors - Boston College High School is a Jesuit, Catholic, college-preparatory school for young men founded in 1863. The school enrolls approximately 1600 students from more than 100 communities in eastern Massachusetts--of those, 12 Needham students got honors or high honors this week.

Considering the Experiences of New Immigrants -  Si Si Goneconto teaches “English as a Learning Language” with the Community Council of Needham and will speak at the public forum on Thursday, November 29th entitled “Immigration: Why Should Our Community Care?”
